SOIL: medium consistency, slightly calcareous, fertile; at its best facing south south east, where it basks in the midday sun; medium-late ripener

VINE-TRAINING: classic row of vines with Guyot pruning; we choice the rootstocks according to the type of land, with most clones to obtain a wider bouquet

ALTITUDE: 450-500 m

COLOUR: garnet red with ruby hues

NOSE: intense flowery taste of violet, fruity taste of blackberry and also reminiscences of wood

TASTE: soft and velvety


MATCHING TIPS: typical dishes of the Piedmont’s kitchen, especially with pasta with meat sauce, braised meat, red meat in general, cheese and salted cakes.
